Tea Tree EO

Tea Tree Essential Oil is extracted from the leaves of the tea tree plant, which is native to Australia. With its fresh, medicinal scent and powerful antiseptic properties, Tea Tree Essential Oil is an excellent addition to any natural first aid kit.

How it works

Tea Tree Oil can help to soothe skin irritations, such as acne, insect bites, and minor wounds, thanks to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It can also be used as a natural household cleaner, as it has powerful antifungal and antiviral properties.

1. As a mouthwash: Mix 2 drops of tea tree oil with a cup of water and use as a mouthwash. Do not swallow as tea tree oil is toxic if taken internally. 
2. To treat dandruff: Mix a few drops of tea tree oil with your shampoo and use as usual. 
3. To treat skin conditions: Apply a few drops of tea tree oil directly to the affected area or mix it with an equal amount of coconut oil and apply it to the affected area. Be sure to wash your hands after use. Tea tree oil has been used to treat acne, athlete's foot, cradle cap, and fungal infections.
